Medical Malpractice / Heart Attack Death

After presenting himself to a Galveston County clinic with all the symptoms of a heart attack, a refinery worker was sent home with ibuprofen and no diagnostic testing. Later that evening, he died of a heart attack. Suit was filed in Galveston County District Court. The case settled after the testimony of the admitting hospital physician who indicated simple testing would have shown the condition and aspirin most likely would have prevented the heart attack.
